Posters will be accepted based on scientific merit, after a blind review by two independent reviewers.

Poster size: 80cm width x 120cm height.

  • This format is appropriate for research projects with concrete results and discussion points om a common specific topic.
  • This format favors interaction between presenter and audience, and an integrative conclusion discussing the results’ implications.

Poster symposiums will be presented in 45-minute sessions, organized by topic. Each session will include a brief introduction by the moderator summarizing the shared topic. • This format favors academic exchange between presenters sharing the session.

Individual papers will be grouped by the Committee into sessions of four thematically connected presentations. The length of each presentation will be 15 minutes, and the session will conclude with a 15-minute Q&A period.

Individual research papers will be accepted based their scientific merit, after a blind review by two independent reviewers.

* Proposals that are accepted but can’t be included in a symposium (due to lack of papers on related topics or the maximum number of symposiums having been reached) can be presented as individual posters, if the presenters agree.

4. Research paper symposium: Grouping of 3-4 empirical research papers focused on a specific topic, emphasizing conceptual aspects and/or integral results. A symposium must involve several institutions.

  • This format is appropriate for research sharing a specific topic and with methodologies, results, and/or discussions that require detailed explanation.
  • This format favors the presentation and discussion of an area of knowledge, and an integrative conclusion discussing the results’ implications.

Research paper symposiums will be presented in 90-minute sessions. Each session will include a brief introduction by the moderator summarizing the shared topic. The length of each individual presentation will be 15 minutes. The format requires the moderator to summarize the similarities and differences between the papers according to context and future lines of inquiry. The session concludes with a 10-minute period for further discussion or Q&A.
