Postponed event

Dear colleagues,
Due to the current restrictions on traveling and gatherings, and health and economic problems associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to reschedule the Syntax of the World’s Languages 9 Conference for  next   year, to  September 16-18, 2021, in  Lima,  Peru, at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú main campus. After careful consideration of several options, we concluded that this is the best way to proceed in order to keep the lively collegial spirit that is so special to the conference.

Registration is cancelled for now and will reopen by April next year. Accepted authors will be automatically included in the conference schedule and will be able to update their abstracts with any new advancement in the field that they consider relevant to their presentation topic. In addition, we will issue a new call for papers by the end of November 2020 with a limited number of slots to compensate potential cancellations and to include additional authors interested in participating in the conference. Further details and instructions will be posted on our website in due time.
